Sunday ; Sunny and hot. When I went to work on the trailer roof ... in the sun ... this afternoon,
I peeked at the thermometer at our back door. 34°
C. / 93°
F. In the shade ! Great Sun Oven weather. For the past week or so we've been using the Sun Oven daily. Today Joanne cooked a pot roast in the Sun Oven for supper tonight. It was incredibly moist and tender.
My next door neighbour is the "leader" of our gazebo relocation project. This afternoon he "disapproved" of my gazebo "trailer" construction. I'll have to make some modifications < fume >.
This afternoon I started work on the final repair ( of eight ) of last February's underpass accident in Guasave, Mexico. I removed the trailer's redundant roof top TV antenna, and cut out the
18" x 18" section of rotten roof underneath. The underlying rotten roof is why the TV antenna wasn't simply torn off by the underpass accident. When the antenna hit the underpass it just pushed down hard and broke the roof underneath. That's how I realized that the roof underneath the antenna was rotten.
Monday ; Sunny and hot. Again ! As it should be at this time of year. Joanne was angry with me when I came in for lunch after a morning of working outside in the sun, and I was somewhat dizzy and nauseous. Too stupid to come in out of the sun, I guess. Me and Bo both. HA HA HA ! But ... Bo has an excuse. He’s from Alabama. HA HA HA < SNORT > HA HA !
Big day today. Sold lot 89 ! ! ! YIPPPEEE ! ! !
I rebuilt the gazebo “trailer” today, modifying it to my neighbour’s satisfaction. I continued working on the fifth wheel trailer roof rebuild project. AND ... I helped my neighbour / the gazebo relocation project “leader” raise the gazebo. WOW ! With the right skills, and tools, it didn’t seem as difficult as I had imagined it would be. However ... I know that difficult tasks ( like flying an airplane ) are made to look easy when done well by someone with skill ! The gazebo is ready to have the “trailer” positioned underneath.
Yesterday evening we received a telephone inquiry about lot 89 for sale. From a Kelowna couple who had been here earlier in the day ( Sunday ) looking at the developer’s lots for sale in Riverside RV Park Resort. Late this afternoon they came back to view our lot 89. After about 2½
hours of talking and walking around the park, and even the crown land adjacent to the park ... we reached an agreement and a deal was made !
I hate to count chickens before they’re hatched, so ... I’ll wait until their money is my bank account ( in 15 days ) before celebrating too much.
Tuesday ; Still sunny and hot. I'm having more difficulty working in the sun and heat than I usually do. Getting older ? Humidity is higher than usual ? Both !
This morning we went into town to run some errands. Grocery shopping, produce shopping, home insurance renewal, prescription refills. Went to the Keremeos Clinic ( South Similkameen Health Centre ) lab ... where they could not find the blood test requisition sent by Penticton Hospital after my colonoscopy last week < fume >. Have I mentioned how much I'm irritated by ineptitude ? ! ? When I take Joanne to the Penticton Hospital for a mammogram on Thursday, I will have to return to the endoscopy unit in the hospital and hope they can find my gastroenterologist's blood test requisition there.
Back at home I disassembled the gazebo "trailer", moved all the components to lot 89, reassembled them, and then with my neighbour's help, we got the gazebo onto the trailer. So far so good. Gazebo move day will be Friday.
I removed the lot 89 for sale signage ! WOO-HOO ! The buyer phoned today and Joanne spoke with her. Later I phoned the buyer's lawyer as requested, and sorted out some details. The buyer's lawyer, not surprisingly, is confused and / or irritated by my unwillingness to hire my own lawyer, preferring to deal with this very simple real estate transaction on my own. HEY ... the seller doesn't really need the questionable "protection" provided by using a lawyer. Lawyer or not, all I really need is a certified cheque or direct deposit for the total purchase price on completion date, nothing more, nothing less. The buyer might need "protection", but I certainly don't. Just "show me the money" !
I did a bit more work on the trailer roof rebuild project. That project is progressing slowly but well.
Wednesday ; Sunny and hot again. Very hot. Maybe record breaking hot !
This morning I did more work on the fifth wheel trailer roof rebuild project. This afternoon I did some repair work on a neighbour's satellite dish mount. Then ... started moving everything in our yard, including all our low fencing, to prepare for the move of the gazebo from lot 89 to lot 4 on Friday.
Late this afternoon we went to a neighbour's for a "Thank You" barbecue party. Joanne brought an apple cake cooked this afternoon in the Sun Oven with apples picked last night from the Transparent Apple tree near the Lodge ( our park's "clubhouse" ).
Thursday ; Very hot, long, tiring day of running errands in Keremeos and Penticton, including tests at Penticton Hospital for both of us.
Friday ; Sunny and hot again.
Moved the gazebo today ! ! ! Started moving it about 10 AM or so. Was completely finished before our friends from California ( summer ) / Arizona ( winter ) arrived mid-afternoon. The gazebo move was difficult, but was achieved without problem. AND ... what a masterful piece of driving ! We expected that I could "tow" the gazebo on my home made "trailer" as far as lot 4, and then we would have to "manually" get it onto the lot and positioned. I drove the gazebo on its trailer to lot 4, and then with extremely careful manoeuvering ... backed it right into position ! We took it off the trailer about 18 inches from its final position ... to give us enough room to get in between the house and the gazebo in order to jack up the gazebo to remove the trailer ... then "finessed" it the final 18 inches manually. What an impressive operation, from start to finish ! ! ! Thank you very much, Gord !
Our Escapee friends Lynn and Micha and their dog Gypsy arrived this afternoon. After driving about 6000 miles to see us. HA HA HA ! Well ... I suppose there were other things they wanted to see and do in 6000 miles of driving in addition to visiting us. HA HA HA ! We are thrilled to have them visit. Their pending arrival this afternoon forced us to deal with the gazebo move today, and as early in the day as possible. They will be "camping" in their large fifth wheel trailer on our lot 89, and I had to get the gazebo off lot 89 before their fifth wheel trailer came in.
Upon their arrival we visited in the dog park for awhile before they got set up on lot 89. We all went to relax in the swimming pool for awhile, then spent the evening visiting in the gazebo ... now in position on lot 4. Great gazebo ! Glad we moved it ! Don't ever want to have to move a building again !
Saturday ; Another sunny, hot day.
This morning while Joanne took Micha to Keremeos on a fruit shopping trip, I filleted two fresh, whole, wild caught Pacific salmon we bought on Thursday. After lunch we took Lynn and Micha on a sightseeing trip up Nickel Plate Mountain, then into the village of Hedley, and lastly a bathroom break at Stemwinder Provinical Park on the Similkameen River. On the way we stopped to pick wild apricots.
Back at home, while Lynn laundered clothes, we all cooled off in the swimming pool, then
I prepared a barbecued salmon dinner.

July 14 to 20, 2013
Monday ; I got paid !
We watched episode one of Amazing Race Canada. Most of it took place locally, in and around Kelowna. And ... the cowboys are members of ... WHAT ? ? ? The Alberta Rockies Gay Rodeo Association ? ! ? Makes ya proud to be Canadian, doesn't it ?
Tuesday ; Today was sunny and hot. A great day to go flying !
After an early ( for us ) lunch we left for a day of running errands, first in Keremeos and then in Penticton. I wonder ... < blink, blink > ... what Elvis was shopping for at Rona ? ! ? Nice rhinestone studded bell bottoms, Elvis ! We had an early ( for us ) picnic supper in Skaha Lake Beach Park, then I went flying at Okanagan Skies Aviation, a new flight training and aircraft rental business in Penticton. Finally !
While Joanne went shopping at Value Village I had a very pleasant pilot proficiency check ride with Michelle, a woman who used to work as a flight instructor at Southern Skies Aviation, the flight training and rental business in Penticton that went out of business a few years ago. I had never flown with Michelle before, but had seen her around Southern Skies Aviation. I did very well for a pilot who has flown so little over the last few years. I passed my pilot proficiency check ride and am now allowed to rent Okanagan Skies' Cessna 172 C-GBMH ( call sign ; Bravo Mike Hotel ). I eagerly look forward to doing some flying.
This evening I began my preparations for having a colonoscopy on Thursday. Tonight's picnic supper will be my last food for about 45 hours.
Wednesday ; < moaning > OOOOOOOOOO ! ! ! I hate these "day before the colonoscopy" days of "intentional illness", preparing for the colonoscopy. No food, enough fluids to drown a horse, and ... foul tasting chemicals to force flushing out of the intestines. It's like ... drinking poison !
Just finished watching MasterChef. GEEEEZZZZ ... I'd kill for a sausage dish right about now !
Thursday ; Sunny and hot. Who cares ? ! ?
Woke at 6 AM to take final dose of colonoscopy preparation "poison". Left for hospital in Penticton about 11:45 AM. Arrived at hospital at 12:45 PM. Colonoscopy at 1:45 PM. Finished by 3 PM. This is second colonoscopy I've had by young, female gastroenterologist. At least she has a gentle touch with sewer hose and TV camera shoved up my ass ! Was not the least bit interested in watching procedure on new large screen HD TV. Not my first rodeo ! Tried to snooze through it as much as possible. Out of hospital by 4 PM. Very groggy ! Home by 5 PM. Passing much more blood after procedure than previous colonoscopies. This doctor takes many biopsies. No polyps this time. Ulceration all the way to and into ileum.
Surprisingly ... she thinks diagnosis of ulcerative colitis made over 20 years ago might be wrong. Thinks I might have Crohn's Disease. Little difference between the two ! Have to have blood tests, then see her in office in 4 to 6 weeks.
Friday ; Sunny and hot. And I'm healthy enough to appreciate it.
Went to pick apricots this morning at our "secret" wild apricot tree near Hedley. We picked a lot of apricots. They're smaller than domestically cultivated apricots, but they're usually sweeter as well. Time will tell. We picked them even though they're a few days from peak ripeness. We'll let these ripen "off the tree" and pick more in a week or so ... if there are any left. Sometimes ... our "secret" wild apricot tree gets picked clean pretty quickly.
This afternoon we did some minor maintenance for a neighbour. Then we measured and staked the location in our yard where we intend to relocate our gazebo from lot 89.
Saturday ; Sunny and hot.
I spent the day building a "trailer" for the gazebo, to move it from lot 89 to lot 4. In the sun. Without a shirt. I think I'm sunburned ! What a doofus !
Two years ago we planted an apricot tree on lot 89. Today Joanne harvested two dozen perfect, plump, ripe, juicy apricots off that tree.

July 7 to 13, 2013
Sunday ; Today was supposed to be sunny and hot. BUT ... it was cloudy with light rain. HMPH !
This morning we drove into Keremeos to run a few errands. On the way home we drove past Riverside RV Park Resort and almost to Hedley to check our secret, wild apricot tree. Lots of fruit, but not ripe yet.
This afternoon we prepared for departure tomorrow morning on our four day road trip to Edmonton and back to pick up a large travel trailer and a motorcycle. Similkameen Trailer Towing is a far more profitable venture, with less work, than Similkameen Day Tours was.
Monday ; Keremeos to Tete Jaune Cache, B.C.
Today ranged from sunny and hot to cloudy and cool with a few drops of rain.
This morning we prepared for departure and set off on our four day road trip to Edmonton, Alberta and back. We travelled west on Hwy. 3 to Princeton, then north on Hwy. 5A to Merritt and Hwy. 5 to Kamloops. At Kamloops we found our way to Princess Auto where I needed to buy something. We refilled with diesel before leaving Kamloops, then headed north on Hwy. 5, covering a lot of miles, all the way to Tete Jaune Cache at the intersection of Hwy. 5 ( north / south, following the Thompson River ) and Hwy. 16, the Yellowhead Highway ( east / west, following the Fraser River ). Tete Jaune is French for Yellow Head.
We refilled with diesel again at Valemount, shortly before reaching Tete Jaune Cache, and we stopped at Jackman Flats Provincial Park to hike briefly, giving Bo an opportunity to burn off some of his excess energy from a long day of being in the truck. We checked in to Tete Jaune Lodge where we had reserved a lovely, small log cabin on the bank of the Fraser River. While Joanne prepared our picnic supper I retrieved phone messages. There was an urgent message from our client, the lady whose trailer we are picking up in Edmonton.
I returned her phone call ! She was having some manner of "crisis" and wanted to cancel our pick up and delivery of her new trailer. WHAT ? ! ? After driving 590 km. / 369 miles you want me to turn around and head back home ? ? ? No problem at all ! Your invoice will be for $590, one dollar for each km., reduced from my normal trailer delivery charge of $1.25 per "loaded" km.! ! !
I suggested that she sleep on the matter and I would phone her again in the morning to get her final decision on whether we should continue to Edmonton or go back home.
I lit a campfire. We had a wonderful picnic supper. We walked down to the Fraser River and chatted with two couples from Ontario for awhile. I'm typing this at 10 PM. Its still daylight. I'm sitting at the picnic table outside our cabin, looking up at Mount Robson, the highest point in the Canadian Rockies.
Tuesday ; Tete Jaune Cache back to Keremeos
WOW ! That was the most uncomfortable mattress any of us have ever slept on ! Nobody got much sleep.
This morning when we were ready to leave I phoned our client in Edmonton to find out whether her crisis was resolved, and whether we were continuing on to Edmonton, or returning back home. She was crying. We headed for home !
Today was sunny and hot, a pleasant day for a long drive. We stopped in Kamloops to run some shopping errands at Princess Auto, Rona, and Canadian Tire. We stopped in Princeton to buy some groceries. We arrived back home shortly after 8 PM.
Wednesday ; Today was sunny and hot.
Considering we weren't even supposed to be home today, we certainly were busy with household chores. I did the 222,000 km. inspection on Lanoire. What a great truck ! And ... I sent an invoice to our Edmonton client. Sure hope I get paid !

June 30 to July 6, 2013
Sunday ; Sunny and hot !
At my urging, Joanne used the Sun Oven today for the first time in a long time. First really sunny day in a long time ! First she cooked eggs and potatoes in the Sun Oven to make a potato salad for supper. Then she used our new bread maker machine to prepare a batch of dinner roll / hamburger bun dough, and cooked the buns in the Sun Oven. We used them for hamburgers for supper, along with the potato salad. Nicely done !
WOO-HOO ! I finally finished the trailer bathroom ceiling rebuild / replacement project ... sort of.
I installed all the precision cut moulding sections. Installation did not go as smoothly as I would have liked. I had difficulty countersinking the heads of the nails I used, and finally gave up trying. The white painted nail heads remain visible < shrug >. I trimmed off the vapour barrier excess.
I caulked around the skylight. I caulked around the fan vent. I caulked around the light fixture.
I caulked around the entire perimeter of the ceiling. That's it ! Sort of ! I didn't have quite enough moulding. I need to buy one more length of moulding, then cut and install it, but it's an easy vertical piece, along a wall from the ceiling to the floor.
I'm obsessing about the imperfections of the moulding installation. Joanne thinks everything looks great ! Thank you, my dear. If my OCD gets the better of me, and I'm still bothered by the visible nail heads in six months or so ... I guess I'll just have to do the mouldings again, and install them differently. It's odd ! The difficult and intimidating parts of the project, I accomplished quite well. One of the simpler parts gave me the most trouble, and caused me the most angst.
Over the past few days I have been having telephone calls and exchanging e-mails with a lady from Edmonton who is buying a new travel trailer in Edmonton and wants it delivered to Penticton. Today she hired me to pick up the trailer at the dealership in Edmonton, and deliver it to Penticton in a little over a week from now.
Monday ; CANADA DAY
WHEW ... VERY HOT ! Very high temperature made unbearable by humidity. Usually we have low humidity which makes high temperature ... nice, in my opinion. Heat, humidity, and ambivalence caused us to abandon plans to participate in Canada Day celebrations in Keremeos or Osoyoos or Penticton or Hedley or Princeton.
I fussed with trailer bathroom ceiling mouldings. < shrug > Slight improvement. I caulked the new shed's plastic floor to the wood base. WHEW ... 8' x 15' shed means 46 feet of perimeter to caulk. Joanne suggested we go cool off in the park's indoor / outdoor swimming pool. Great idea ! Afterwards we went out into the Crown land adjacent to our RV park and harvested raspberries and Saskatoons. Another great idea by Joanne. Raspberries were GREAT ! Difficult to get at, but plentiful. Had some for dessert after supper, drizzled with "con leche" from Mexico.
Tuesday ; WHEW ... the shaded thermometer just outside our door read 39.5° C / 103° F at 4 PM. Too hot to do much of anything today.
Joanne did some online research for our trip to Edmonton next week to pick up a trailer to be delivered to Penticton. She found us a lovely, riverside log cabin beside the Fraser River in Tete Jaune Cache, B.C., a bit more than halfway to Edmonton from here, at a reasonable price for next Monday night. Well done, my dear.
Wednesday ; Today was not quite as hot as yesterday's record breaking temperature of 40° C / 104° F., the hottest temperature we ... Joanne and I ... have experienced in Canada.
This morning I did an obedience session with Bo before it got too hot, then we went into Keremeos to run errands. I adjusted the air in the truck's spare tire then went for a haircut and beard trim while Joanne went to buy groceries and refill a water jug. I bought some toilet repair parts then we drove to the logging business in Cawston that makes logs for home building. We filled two large bags with wood chips to be used for landscaping. No charge ! Thank you ! Joanne says she loooooves getting something for free. HA HA HA ... my kind of girl !
After lunch and a nap with the animals I fixed the toilet, then we went to harvest Saskatoons. This year's crop of Saskatoons was ready about a week earlier than usual, they were large and juicy, but they are rapidly coming to an end as they dry out quicker than they can ripen due to the very hot weather of the last few days. Today might be the last harvest. And only five containers of Saskatoons in the freezer to be eaten next winter in Yuma. HA HA HA ! MMMMM ... I'm fantasizing about Saskatoon pancakes in January as I type this ... but I digress. HA HA HA !
In the evening I received a phone call from the lady who has hired us to transport her new travel trailer from Edmonton to Penticton. Her brother would also like to hire us ... to transport a small motorcycle in the bed of our truck from Edmonton to Penticton at the same time.
< shrug > KA-CHING ... I guess !
Thursday ; Today was sunny and very warm, a lovely day.
We spent the day running errands in Penticton. Ten months ago we bought an old TV at Salvation Army in Penticton. It was, and still is, in perfect working condition. It was meant to be "temporary" when we moved into our park model manufactured home, anticipating that we would purchase a new TV in Yuma, Arizona on American Thanksgiving / Black Friday, which we did. Today we returned the TV to the Salvation Army, as a donation. HMPH ! They refused it ! "Too old" ! ! !
It annoys me when charities are too "snooty" to accept donations, especially an item that was purchased from them less than year ago. We took it to Value Village who also refused it. We discarded it at the recycling place in Penticton. I hate discarding something that works perfectly fine !
Today I visited Southern Skies Aviation, a flight training and aircraft rental business that has been "starting up" in Penticton for the last ten months. I think they're finally ready to get off the ground, so to speak. And so ... it's time for me to resume flying !
Friday ; Today was sunny and hot.
In March when I replaced the trailer's skylight which had been destroyed in the Guasave, Mexico underpass accident I did not seal the edges and screws with the included tube of butyl caulking.
I did not want to do that and then discover that I would have to remove the skylight in order to replace / rebuild the bathroom ceiling. Now that I am finished the bathroom ceiling project, it was time to seal the skylight edges and screws. Oh, geeeeezzzzz ... the tube of butyl caulking that was included with the new skylight was the texture of ... bubblegum ! I found it very difficult and messy to work with, and the results look like it was applied by a < ahem > developmentally disabled eight year old. AND ... after making that mess on my skylight ... I went over to a neighbour and made the same kind of mess on his. HA HA HA ! I had previously committed to a neighbour that when I was going to caulk my trailer's new skylight, I would also caulk his trailer's skylight which was in need of some resealing.
After I was finished making those two messes, I discarded the remaining ¾ of a tube of butyl caulking, and spent a long time getting that "bubblegum" off my hands and legs and tools with paint thinner. I helped our next door neighbour move his large barbecue down to the lawn by the clubhouse where tomorrow's "yard sale" will take place. I did some refurbishment work on a patio table Joanne scavenged from a neighbour who was discarding it.
AND ... for the first time since we "moved" from lot 89 to lot 4 about eleven months ago ... I began to seriously consider the idea of moving our lovely cedar gazebo from lot 89 to lot 4. HMMMM !
Oh, for ****'s sake ! ! ! It's almost 10 PM ... the windows are open because it's hot ... and a "weekender" resident has begun to play his bagpipes. I hope he's tuning them up to sell them tomorrow at the yard sale !
Saturday ; Today was sunny and hot again.
This morning we walked down to the large lawn area by the park's clubhouse to see what our neighbours were selling at the park's yard sale. Nothing of interest.
Because I have been hired to transport a motorcycle from Edmonton to Penticton in the back of our truck, today I removed two totes that were bolted down in the bed of the truck, and sorted and rearranged everything that was in the totes and the truck's large storage chest. Having to get a motorcycle into the bed of the truck hastened the inevitable. Since we are no longer full time RV'ers, and have both a summer home with a storage shed and a winter home with a storage shed, and are planning to retire the fifth wheel trailer to Yuma and buy a truck camper ... it was time to stop hauling all our worldly possessions around in the back of the truck. HA HA HA ! It was hot and humid, and I didn't feel well today, so it took me all damn day to accomplish about two hours worth of work ! And I wouldn't even have accomplished that much if it wasn't for Joanne's help. Thank you, my dear, I was really off my game today.

June 23 to 29, 2013
Sunday ; Today was mostly sunny and mild, a bit humid. Oddly, we had a 5½
hour power outage, from 3:45 PM until 9:15 PM.
This morning I worked on the bathroom trailer ceiling replacement project, reinstalling everything except the light fixture. I need to buy a new light fixture. The old one had corrosion underneath it. I've done as much as I can until I buy more supplies in Penticton on Tuesday. I need moulding and caulking ... and a 12V light fixture.
We spent much of the afternoon with a family from Westbank a.k.a. West Kelowna who came out to view lot 89 and the rest of Riverside RV Park Resort as potential purchasers of lot 89.
Monday ; Today was cloudy, cool, and raining for much of the day. And I was sick. Yesterday
I accepted a neighbour's invitation to have a beer. On a completely empty stomach. And not too long thereafter, I began to feel ill with a colitis flare-up. Which lasted for about twenty-four hours, until late afternoon today.
Yesterday's power outage was caused by a landslide very nearby. A mountain side let go, and a rockslide came tumbling down, ripping out power lines and poles, setting dry grass on fire, and sending vehicle sized boulders bouncing onto the highway a mile or so east of here, between our RV park and the village of Keremeos. The highway was closed for the afternoon and early evening. The potential purchasers of lot 89 that were here yesterday afternoon would have been delayed by that road closure a few minutes after they left here.
Tuesday ; Partially sunny, partially cloudy, mild temperature, light rain in the evening.
Another long day of running errands in Penticton. How do we manage to spend three to four hundred dollars every week in Penticton ? ! ? Gee, we live much more cheaply during the winter in Yuma due to lower fuel prices, and much lower grocery prices in the United States.
Wednesday ; Don't you just love passive-aggressive games playing by a dickweed who spends a lot of other people's money to undertake a project that nobody really cares about ... and then doesn't finish it ? ? ? ! ! !
This morning I installed a new roof vent on our next door neighbour's utility trailer. Then ... spent 4½ hours shovelling rocks from a pile across the road into a wheelbarrow ... load after load after load .... while being eaten alive by mosquitoes because I was sweating like a pig ... then wheeling them across the road to shovel them out of the wheelbarrow onto the unfinished rock wall rock garden rockscaping project on the common area land at the bottom of our front yard slope ! We ... and our neighbours ... reluctantly concluded recently that if we didn't each finish up this project adjacent to each of our own properties, it wasn't going to get finished ! ! !
Thursday ; WOO-HOO, WOO-HOO, WOO-HOO ( says Bo ) ! First day of Saskatoon harvest 2013.
Bo was in a frantic feeding frenzy, in the bed of the truck, harvesting Saskatoons.
Joanne baked a Saskatoon pie. And baked some Saskatoon muffins. And made some stewed Saskatoon compote to be frozen, to be added to yoghurt next winter in Yuma, Arizona. MMMMM ! ! !
I installed a new light fixture on the trailer bathroom new ceiling.
Friday ; Happy 49th Birthday to Joanne's sister Lorraine
Today was sunny, very warm, and humid. We have a few extremely hot days coming up !
I spent much of today continuing work on the trailer bathroom ceiling replacement project. Today
I measured and cut all the pieces of moulding. Lots of 45 degree angles. Lots of precision sawing required. I also worked with a neighbour on a difficult home maintenance job he had to do. Lots of work on a ladder, which he is uncomfortable with. Sustained only two injuries < rolling eyes > ! OUCH !
And ... I finally sold our TV stand / bookcase, one of the three pieces of surplus furniture we have been trying to sell since I recently wall mounted the new TV we bought in Yuma on American Thanksgiving.
Saturday ; Today was sunny, very warm, and humid ... again. I slept late and had a slow start to my day while Joanne went into town early to run some errands and check out some local yard sales. When she returned we harvested Saskatoons again. WOW ... they ripen quickly ! Hard to believe that we harvested as much today as we did only two days ago. Bo was thrilled !
This afternoon I worked on installing the new mouldings in the trailer bathroom ceiling rebuild / replacement project. My progress was not as great as I would have liked. I was interrupted by socializing with neighbours.
Busy long weekend here. Lots of visitors in the park. Lots of traffic on the highway.
