DAY 36

 

 

Started the day by unloading the rest of our artworks from Joanne's van. Visited with Bud in the gazebo over a cup of coffee. Recruited Andrea's boyfriend, Georges, to help carry the art into Sharon's basement. Spent some time talking to Georges about the possibility of him buying Joanne's van. Sent him off on a test drive with the van. He seems excited about the prospect of buying the van from us. He seems like a nice young man.

Had lunch. Took a short nap. Haven't been doing that much lately. This unemployed phase of my life seems much too busy to allow me the luxury of afternoon naps. Spent the rest of the afternoon installing the 2 new plumbing roof vents on the trailer. Didn't quite finish before I had to start cleaning up to be on time for the Danelak barbecue party to celebrate Andrea's graduation from high school.

Evening was spent visiting with the Danelak's friends. Last guests didn't leave until 2:00 A.M.! We didn't want to appear rude by leaving the party before the other guests, since we sort of live here now, so we stuck it out until the very end.
