DAY 17

 

 

Left Ivy Lea Provincial Park about noon, driving east on the 1000 Islands Parkway, until it reached Hwy. 2 and Hwy. 401. Hwy. 401 is no treat, so continued east on Hwy. 2, the slow, scenic route, passing through all the towns and villages along the St. Lawrence, like Brockville, and Morrisburg.

Stopped for a very late lunch at the picnic park on the waterfront near Upper Canada Village. From there, headed north on Hwy. 31 back to Ottawa, arriving home by 6:00 P.M.. Spent the evening getting organized for the chores and errands facing us this week, doing some pool maintenance, and tossing out whatever was left in the house, as tomorrow is garbage day.

An entire day of sniping at each other for anything and everything ! What an unpleasant day !
