DAY 7
Another warm, sunny day. Difficult to concentrate on departure preparations and procedures with all the distractions ; too much unsolicited advice and assistance. Not even assistance, really, just a lot of comments from the spectators. Go away and drink your coffee somewhere else, folks, and let the newbies get the job done. Not surprisingly, I discover many hours down the road, when I pull into Guelph for groceries, that I have left the cap off the wastewater tank drain pipe.
We left our campsite in Kingston at 9:45 A.M., and arrived at our campsite in Windsor at 7:45 P.M.. A long, hard day. Three stops for fuel. Stop for groceries and lunch. Upon arrival at Wildwood Golf & RV Resort Joanne took care of feeding the cats, and getting us registered with the Explorer RV Club National Rally, while I did all the trailer set up procedures. Everything set up, we're all registered, cats fed, and supper on the table by 9:00 P.M.
625 km. is too much for 1 day ! Especially if it includes driving through Toronto !
